St. Philomena's Industrial Training Institute

Empowering youth with skills, values, and vocational excellence since its establishment

As part of its commitment to holistic human development, St. Philomena's Cathedral parish operates an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) that provides quality vocational and technical education to youth from all communities, with a special focus on those from economically weaker sections of society.

The ITI offers government-recognised trade courses in disciplines such as:

  • Electrician
  • Fitter
  • Draughtsman (Civil)
  • Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA)
  • Tailoring and Dress Making

The institute is affiliated with the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) and admits students on the basis of merit. Scholarship assistance is available for deserving candidates.

The mission of the ITI is rooted in the Church's vision of integral human development — to equip young men and women with skills that make them self-reliant, productive members of society, and agents of change in their communities.
