Bishop's Message

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Grace and peace to you from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ!

It is with great joy and love that I welcome you to St. Philomena's Cathedral, Mysore — a house of God that has been a source of prayer, pilgrimage, and spiritual renewal for generations of faithful.

St. Philomena, our patron and heavenly intercessor, is a powerful witness to unwavering faith. Her courage in the face of persecution and her steadfast love for Christ inspire us to live our own faith with conviction and joy. As we gather beneath the soaring arches of this magnificent cathedral, may her example strengthen our resolve to follow Christ wholeheartedly.

I invite each one of you — parishioners, pilgrims, and visitors alike — to experience the love of God that flows freely in this sacred place. Come to pray, come to receive the sacraments, come to seek healing and consolation, and come simply to rest in the presence of our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament.
