The founder, Rev. Fr. Gregorious Madapilly established St. Philomena’s ITI in the year 1982 registered under Cathedral Parish Society. His Excellency the Rt. Rev. Dr. Mathias Fernandes the then bishop of Mysore was the first president of St. Philomena’s ITI. The Bishop Rt. Rev. Dr. Mathias Fernandes & Rev. Fr. Gregorious Madapilly had a dream to provide vocational training program to the needy and the poor enabling them to become skilled technicians in order to:
